Trip Folk Duo
(1971-73)
BRAINAL UNIT was by all practical purposes, an alt folk duo playing original music. Both my twin brother, Ben, and I wrote the songs (about 50/50) singing and playing acoustic guitar. Sadly there were very few recordings made, and we rarely played out during our 3 years together. We did perform once at our free school, PIONEER II, during their "Death Symposium". This experimental school later re-located downtown, and was there officially renamed COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL. We also gigged once at the Cantaberry House, a local folk club at the time.
