This band was formed after THE OTHER BAND broke up [while NONFICTION was forming] as Laurence & Ben began to
crave freer forms of musical expression. LOW INCOME ZONE barely lasted a year with it's only claim-to-fame
being nearly booed off stage at Ann Arbor's Michigan Theatre. As the band dissolved, Laurence formed
his alternative variation, RADIO SILENCE, while Ben formed his, GOD KNOWS WHO. Both
brothers performed and recorded in each other's ensembles from time to time as well,
and both bands released their material on cassette, over the course of the decade.
